This early (1979) Hallmark ornament is titled “Christmas Eve Surprise.” It is wonderfully intricate, with layers built up behind glass. A favorite, and a classic. This ornament was a gift from my parents.

This handsome fellow is “Le Gascon du Roi,” a limited edition ornament purchased directly from De Carlini in Italy. The design and detail are impressive and this ornament is quickly now one of my favorites.
One of my new favorites: this “Russian Santa” by Reed and Barton. He is beautiful – with glitter and crystals no less. Very regal, very wonderful!
